RAY BAN SHOOTER AMBERMATIC

Ray Ban Shooter Ambermatic 62mm made in U.S.A. by Bausch & Lomb, 1978
Known by many enthusiasts because they were worn by Johnny Depp in
“Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas” 1998, the Ray Ban Shooter is one of the first Aviator models designed in late ’40s for US Army aviators.
Later, in the ’70s, sunglasses were manufactured by Ray Ban B&L that featured strong technical qualities, with the introduction of the Ambermatic photochromic lenses on Shooter frames, which changed colour with changing light conditions, so were excellent for winter sports and all kinds of weather.
Today, the Ray Ban Shooter Ambermatic is one of the most sought after glasses by collectors worldwide.
